<image:caption>“The Calvin Leete Variety Show last night was excellent. I know that in great part is due to your knowledge of theater and time you invested. Having you work with the kids individually over a period of a number of weeks helped them perfect their presentations….a tremendous success,” writes an audience member.</image:caption>

<image:title>Teacher & Other Hats - Technique Julie’s acting technique and approach begins with the text: finding an authentic and personal connection to the language of a scene/monologue/song and then surrending to the process - one true moment at a time… Acting is an elusive craft - and a gorgeous one - we chip away at it, listen, whisper, breathe with it and - eventually - fully inhabit it. Julie’s work is rooted in the teachings of Konstantin Stanislavski, Michael Chekhov, Sanford Meisner and Joanna Merlin among others.</image:title>

<image:title>Teacher & Other Hats - Other hats: Julie is mom to Fitz & Gracen & Hudson & married to Pete - the most important of the other hats. Julie works at her family car dealership, Crest Lincoln of Woodbridge, with her husband and father. Julie has directed the Christmas Pageant at First Congregational Church in Guilford, serves on the Christian Ed Committee there and was a Confirmation Mentor. Julie is involved in GFFE and their annual spelling bee with her incredibly good sport of a husband, Pete (when you see their bumble bee shirts, you’ll know what she means.)</image:title>
