Join us for the Guilford Poets Guild Second Thursday event October 10th featuring Dan Goldberg and Julie Fitzpatrick in a reading at the Guilford Public Library! This event is free and will kick off with an Open Mic at 6:30 and then Dan and Julie will share their poetry. The poets’ bios are below.
Julie Fitzpatrick is a writer/actor/theater teacher who has acted Off-Broadway, regionally, and in TV/short film. She is a member of The Playwrights Circle, Guilford Poets Guild & Ensemble Studio Theatre in NYC. Her poetry has been published by Chariot Press, Wingless Dreamer, Poets' Choice, and Allegory Ridge. She is the author of the one woman show “77 U-Turn” & the book “Church on the Screen: A Sunday Series of Pandemic Poetry,” both of which are available at Breakwater Books. Daniel Goldberg has been writing poetry for over 60 years. He attends many Open Mics, and has written many Ekphrastic poems. Dan has recited on Poet's Day at Guilford High School for 12 years. He enjoys saying many of his poems from memory. Dan is a graduate of the University of Connecticut.
